SANTA CLARA, CA – The College Rugby Association of America (CRAA) has released its February D1A Power Rankings, highlighting key movement across the national landscape as teams prepare for the intensity of the spring season. As competition begins to heat up, several programs have reinforced their positions among the nation’s elite, while others have surged into the national conversation.

Navy retains the top spot ahead of a challenging spring schedule. Life University and Lindenwood hold firm at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. California and Army round out the top five, each building momentum with clear postseason ambitions.

Saint Mary’s, Arkansas State, BYU, and Mount St. Mary’s continue to anchor the middle of the top ten, while Arizona remains steady at No. 10 after a series of strong fall performances.

The February rankings also highlight upward mobility throughout the middle tier. Programs such as Cal Poly, Colorado State, and Grand Canyon are trending in the right direction as their young rosters continue to mature and gain consistency.

Looking Ahead

With conference play resuming throughout February and March, the national picture is expected to evolve rapidly. Key matchups with Midwest and the California Conference along with many challenging out-of-conference fixtures will provide clarity as teams push toward playoff qualification.
